    POSITION TITLE: Grade 4 Classroom Teacher - ONE YEAR ASSIGNMENT

    LOCATION: Hawley Elementary School

    DURATION: August 24, 2026 to June 2027

    SALARY RANGE: See current teacher salary agreement

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Connecticut Certification.
    • Strong background in elementary education and the teaching of language arts and mathematics.
    • Proven leadership.
    • Reflective learner who has high expectations for his/her performance and that of the students.
    • Applied expertise in implementing an integrated language arts curriculum.
    • Commitment to contributing to a community of learners.
    • Ability to work with and actively involve parents in the educational process.
    • Strong understanding of and expertise in using technology to enhance student achievement.
