Position Overview Vision Academy Charter School of Excellence is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Elementary Teacher Kindergarten - Grade 4 to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Teachers in this role are responsible for delivering instruction in core subjects, including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, implement engaging instructional strategies, and support the academic and social-emotional development of elementary students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the schools curriculum
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student growth
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior
• Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture aligned with VACSEs core values
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into daily instruction
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred
• Certification: Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Elementary Education PK-4 or ability to obtain certification

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary: $63,000 based on experience and credentials according to the VACSE salary scale.

Continued Education Incentives:

• $3,000 for obtaining a Masters Degree in a related field
• $1,500 for Bachelors Degree 24 Graduate Credit Hours
• $1,500 for Masters Degree 30 Graduate Credit Hours
• $3,000 annually for continuing education
• Longevity Pay: $1,200 for every three years of service
• Performance-Based Bonuses: Up to $7,500 for teaching excellence
