Assistant Teacher - Pre-K Program

Our Lady of Mercy Preparatory Academy is seeking a caring, energetic, and mission-driven Assistant Teacher to join our Preschool program. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a vibrant, faith-centered school community dedicated to nurturing the whole child.

Position Responsibilities:
- Support the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
- Foster a warm, nurturing, and safe classroom environment.
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and social-emotional development.
- Encourage creativity, independence, and a love of learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth.
- Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and maintaining a clean learning environment.
- Support the Catholic mission and values of OLM Prep.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children preferred.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A joyful, patient, and flexible disposition.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
