SUMMARY Performs a variety of manual labor intensive and routine maintenance duties by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintains school floors.
• Removes furniture, waxes floor, and replaces furniture.
• Assists in maintenance repairs, primarily lawn equipment.
• Distributes parts, fuel, and other items needed for operation.
• Assists with welding and maintenance of play ground equipment.
• Assists in all other areas as required.
• Neat, well-groomed, appropriately dressed appearance.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
• Tractor driving experience is a plus.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma, six months to one year job-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
