We’re looking for a skilled Classic Car Restoration Specialist in Dekalb, IL who takes pride in their craft and genuinely loves working on vintage and classic vehicles. This isn’t production work—this is about precision, patience, and bringing automotive history back to life.

What You’ll Do
- Perform full and partial restorations on classic and vintage vehicles
- Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble vehicles with accuracy and care
- Repair and restore components including:
- Engines and drivetrain systems
- Suspension, steering, and braking systems
- Electrical and wiring (OEM-style preferred)
- Conduct metalwork, light fabrication, and panel alignment (as needed)
- Collaborate on paint/body prep and finishing stages
- Source or recommend correct parts and materials
- Maintain documentation and progress updates on builds
- Ensure every project meets high standards of craftsmanship and authenticity
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in classic car restoration, hot rods, or vintage vehicle repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on long-term projects
- Passion for classic cars and restoration work
- Pride in craftsmanship—cutting corners isn’t your style
- Familiarity with older vehicle systems (carburetors, distributors, etc.)
- Welding, fabrication, or bodywork experience is a plus
- Organized, patient, and quality-driven mindset
