Class C Delivery Driver

Myrtle Greens is an international producer and distributor of premium quality vegetarian and vegan food for both the retail and foodservice channel. We have developed a retail line of gourmet frozen vegetarian entrees under the Vegetarian Plus® brand, as well as a traditional brand VeriSoya®, which provides authentic Asian ethnic products targeting Asian Markets. We provide unique vegetarian and vegan cuisine, with a diverse selection of both frozen and shelf stable vegan protein, and other meat-free, healthy natural groceries.

CLASS C Delivery driver

We are looking for a class C delivery driver to join our growing team. The person must be able to handle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment, knowing their contribution is valuable to the company. Duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Safely operate fleet of vehicles - Bobtail truck, delivery vans, passenger cars
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient deliveries to customers
• Ensure proper handling and delivering to prevent damage or loss
• Accurately complete necessary paperwork and logbooks
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with management, warehouse supervisor, and customers
• Pick and pack orders in commercial warehouse freezer
• Load and unload deliveries using pallet jacks and forklifts
• Other general warehouse duties as assigned

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class C Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record
• Previous experience driving 25’ bobtail truck
• Proven experience in route driving and delivery operations
• Working in a freezer warehouse environment and operating a refrigerated truck and van. Freezer gear provided.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts for loading/unloading purposes
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lb boxes of product
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Food industry experience preferred
• Must pass background / drug test screening
