Position Purpose:
Responsible for training and/or re-training delivery drivers on on all aspects of the delivery driver job duties. Utilizes all company training guides, manuals, checklists and processes to ensure compliance with company policies, practices, safety and DOT regulations. Performs preferred work method observations and provides verbal and written feedback on driver trainees' performance including suggested development actions. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
Required Experience: 1 - 3 Years
At least 1 year of route Driving experience with PFG
At least 2 years of route Driving experience overall
Route delivery driver experience specifically in foodservice distribution industry with in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations.
Computerized fleet operations management systems knowledge (i.e. PeopleNet)
Valid CDL A and DOT Health Card
Must be 21 years of age
Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
No attendance write-ups in the last 6 months
No disciplinary action in the last 12 months
No more than 3 points per PFG preventable accident policy in last rolling 12 months
MVR policy point assessment of less than 20 points (Good or Professional Level), Performance Foodservice, Operations, Preferred Education: Associates/2-year technical; Technical school, Associates degree or other certification in learning and development training methods
Preferred Experience: 1 - 3 Years
At least 2 years of route Driving experience with PFG
Transportation experience specifically in foodservice distribution industry route delivery
Small group and one-on-one training experience Basic/Intermediate computer skills, Arizona,
