    About the role

    Join our team in Fontana, CA as a Clamp Truck Materials Handling Operator. You will keep materials moving safely and efficiently across our operation, using a clamp attachment to load, unload, and position product while maintaining high quality standards and clear documentation.

    A day in the life

    You begin with a walk-around of your clamp truck, checking controls and attachments. On the dock, you use the clamp to lift and transfer product from incoming trailers to designated storage bays. As you work, you examine materials for defects, note anything unusual, and communicate promptly with your supervisor. You keep your area orderly, complete routine upkeep on the clamp equipment, and capture your activity in daily logs so the next shift hits the ground running. Throughout the day, you coordinate with teammates to meet production targets and deadlines.

    Core responsibilities

    • Operate and care for clamp equipment to achieve consistent, reliable performance.
    • Load and unload materials from trucks and storage locations using the clamp attachment.
    • Check materials for accuracy and quality; escalate discrepancies to supervision.
    • Follow established safety practices and sustain a clean, organized workspace.
    • Work closely with peers to meet output goals and timeframes.
    • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues with clamp equipment.
    • Record daily activities and report concerns or downtime to management.

    What you bring

    • Experience operating a clamp truck or similar powered industrial equipment is a plus.
    • Solid knowledge of safe equipment operation and facility safety procedures.
