We are currently seeking a Commercial Auto Property Damage Claims Representative to fill a position in our Boston office directly across the street from South Station. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Claims Representative to join our growing team and start a career with a financially sound company.
Responsibilities: • Contact insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other parties related to an auto accident. • Proficient in communicating in a variety of ways, including text, email, and letter. • Investigate all assigned claims for coverage, liability, and damages. • Ensure timely disposition of all claims in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements. • Responsible for timely payment of auto repairs and resolution of total losses. • Ensure adherence to a variety of commercial policies, including related coverages and exclusions. • Determine liability of parties involved in a loss, including application of comparative negligence. • Effectively manage workload through claims management and imaging systems.
Qualifications: 1-2 years of auto claims handling experience, preferably commercial auto. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively via phone, text, email, and other written correspondence. Demonstrated level of competency in time management, priority setting, and customer focus. Experience using a claims management and imaging system. Bachelors Degree or commensurate experience.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $67,000 a year. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
