ServiceMaster Superior Cleaning Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to support the General Manager and operations team in the day-to-day administration of insurance restoration claims. This position plays a critical role in ensuring jobs move efficiently from intake through completion while maintaining communication with customers, insurance carriers, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal departments.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple files simultaneously, and supporting operational workflows related to water, fire, mold, and reconstruction claims.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager with oversight and coordination of active insurance restoration claims
  • Maintain accurate job files, documentation photos, notes, and claim correspondence
  • Communicate with homeowners, insurance adjusters, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel
  • Track claim progress from initial loss through mitigation, reconstruction, invoicing, and closeout
  • Schedule inspections, customer appointments, and subcontractor work
  • Monitor required documentation for billing and insurance compliance
  • Assist with estimate preparation and supplement documentation
  • Follow up on outstanding approvals, invoices, and claim-related items
  • Ensure CRM and job management systems remain updated and accurate
  • Support collections and payment tracking when necessary
  • Help maintain service standards and customer satisfaction throughout the claim process

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in insurance restoration, construction administration, claims coordination, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of homeowners insurance claims process strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and job management software
  • Experience with Xactimate, DASH, MICA, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently while supporting management directives

Preferred Background

  • Water/fire/mold mitigation industry experience
  • Administrative support within restoration or construction environment
  • Familiarity with insurance carrier communication and documentation requirements
  • Experience handling sensitive customer situations following property losses

Work Environment

  • Office-based position with coordination between field and administrative teams
  • Fast-paced environment managing multiple active projects
  • Occasional after-hours communication may be required during emergency loss events
