Responsibilities:

Your Role Explained. 

 

Provides support to the Claims department, including answering incoming calls, completing SR1 forms, file jackets, photocopying, distributing mail, maintaining salvage logs, total loss checks, and dispatching assignments, etc. 

 

Roles and responsibilities of the Claims Clerk Sr. position include...

  • Provides support to the Claims department, including answering incoming calls, completing SR1 forms, file jackets, photocopying, distributing mail, maintaining salvage logs, total loss checks, and dispatching assignments, etc.
  •  Customer Service: Check the status of appointments and reschedule as necessary for the Message Center, Mitchell Med Pay Unit, Total Loss. Assist with scheduling of MDA's on appraisals with vendors. Maintain total loss salvage logs and send out correspondence as needed.
  • Department Support: Sort, stamp and deliver internal department mail. Photocopy, maintain file jackets, answer and transfer calls. Call banks for lien releases for Total Loss and Subrogation departments.
  • Other duties as required: Job may require fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes.

Business Requirements:

  • Some administrative/clerical and customer service experience is sufficient

The salary range is $18.95 -$26.55.  Actual compensation will be based on job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered, including medical and financial benefits, paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick leave, and personal days), and eligibility for the company’s performance sharing plan.
