Job Title: General Liability Claims Adjuster (Bodily Injury Focus)

Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite) (Kearney Mesa)

Pay: $35-$40/hr. (DOE)

Employment Type: Temporary (4+ months, possibility of extension based on business needs)

We're hiring an experienced BI-focused GL Adjuster to handle moderate to complex bodily injury claims, including litigated files with meaningful exposure. This is a high-impact role working directly with clients, counsel, and carriers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an adjuster between roles or seeking immediate, impactful project work with a reputable brokerage.

What You'll Handle

  • Manage GL & auto claims with BI exposure
  • Investigate liability, damages, and coverage
  • Evaluate medical records, determine claim value, and set appropriate reserves
  • Independently manage litigated claims in partnership with defense counsel
  • Negotiate settlements and attend mediations
  • Draft coverage letters, RORs, disclaimers

Requirements

  • 5+ years of General Liability claims experience
  • Strong bodily injury claims handling (required)
  • Experience managing litigated claims from start to resolution
  • Proven ability handling moderate to complex exposures
