Job TitleSite ManagerJob DescriptionLead and oversee all field operations for sitework and heavy civil construction projects. Manage daily activities related to excavation, grading, earthwork, utilities, drainage, paving, and infrastructure installation. Coordinate and supervise field crews, foremen, subcontractors, and equipment operators. Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements. Monitor production rates, project schedules, and manpower allocation to meet milestones and deadlines. Plan and coordinate equipment, materials, and labor resources to maximize productivity. Conduct site inspections to verify quality standards and adherence to project specifications. Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and unforeseen site conditions. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, owners, inspectors, and utility representatives. Review construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules with field teams. Maintain daily reports, track progress, and document project activities. Oversee excavation support, utility installation, stormwater systems, roadwork, and other civil infrastructure components. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, erosion control requirements, and permit conditions. Manage project budgets at the field level by controlling labor, equipment usage, and material waste.
