Salary: $140-150K plus 15% bonus

Our client, a global leader and innovator in the building materials industry, is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineering Manager to join their enterprise Capital Delivery team in the Columbus, OH area. The CSE Manager will provide technical direction and leadership for major capital projects ($10M–$150M) across North America. This role will oversee civil, structural, and architectural aspects of site development and building construction, manage EPC/EPCM partnerships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead civil, structural, and architectural design for greenfield and brownfield projects, including office, site, and plant facilities.
• Develop EPC packages and oversee external engineering firms to ensure quality and compliance.
• Drive constructability reviews, modular/offsite execution strategies, and innovative approaches to reduce project timelines and costs.
• Provide subject matter expertise for civil/structural issues and support safety, HazOps, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and support team members, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Track project progress, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to best practices and capital efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including site development and building design.
• Experience leading large-scale capital projects ($10M+).
• Proficiency in project management, cost estimating, and EPC/EPCM delivery methods.
• Ability to travel 20–30%, domestic and international.

• Advanced degree (MBA or Engineering discipline).
• Experience with global projects and multi-national teams.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (3D), parametric design, and engineering software.
• Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Lean Manufacturing, PMP, or OSHA 10 certifications.
• Experience leading in both union and non-union environments.
