Location: Nashville, TNJob Type: Full-TimeAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking a Civil/Site Project Manager to join a growing civil engineering team in Nashville, Tennessee. This individual will lead projects across a diverse portfolio of land development assignments, including commercial, industrial, mixed‑use, residential, and municipal developments. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with project management and client‑facing skills to successfully deliver projects from concept through construction.Key ResponsibilitiesManage civil site development projects from initial planning through construction completion.Oversee the preparation of site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion control plans.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.Coordinate project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resource allocation.Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, designers, and support staff.Review engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, and permitting documents.Manage entitlement, zoning, and permitting processes with local jurisdictions.Support business development efforts through client relationship management and proposal preparation.Mentor junior engineers and assist with their professional development.Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain Tennessee PE through reciprocity.6+ years of experience in civil engineering and land development.Proven experience managing projects and client relationships.Strong knowledge of site development design, stormwater management, utilities, grading, and permitting.Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.Experience with Hydrology and Hydraulic software such as HydroCAD, ICPR, HEC‑RAS, or StormCAD preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred ExperienceCommercial, multifamily, mixed‑use, industrial, or residential land development projects.Nashville Metro permitting experience or familiarity with Tennessee regulatory requirements.Existing relationships with developers, architects, contractors, or municipal agencies in the region.Experience assisting with business development and pursuing new client opportunities.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary ($110,000 - $160,000+, depending on experience)Annual performance bonusComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchFlexible work schedule and hybrid work optionsProfessional development and continuing education supportPE licensing and professional membership reimbursementClear path toward Senior Project Manager, Department Manager, or Office LeadershipWhy Join Us?This is an opportunity to play a key role in one of the fastest-growing markets in the Southeast.
