Civil / Land Development Group ManagerWe are looking to hire an experienced Civil / Land Development Group Manager to be based in our Charlotte or Raleigh office. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer with significant experience in client development and managing, designing, and providing civil site services for public and private agencies, including DOTs, counties, and municipalities.LocationThis full-time position will be based in the Charlotte or Raleigh office, requiring at least 3 days a week onsite.Impact You Will HaveManage and grow the North Carolina Division Civil Site Group, including the design and construction administration service linesManage project teams, accountable for staffing, budget, and scheduleContribute to local, regional, and corporate strategic growth initiatives, including expansion of Civil/Land Development throughout the Carolinas and the Southeast regionDevelop and manage relationships with new and existing clientsRepresent Benesch at industry and professional engagement eventsIdentify opportunities and lead strategic project pursuitsCollaborate on divisional and regional growth strategyMentor junior and mid-level engineersBusiness development and marketing, including networking, preparation of SOQs, proposals, and contractsManage design consultants and clientsOversee/quality control for concepts or schematic designs, including layout, grading, hydrology, and utilitiesOversee design concepts from schematic design into development and work with the project team to produce construction documentsWhat We Are Looking ForProfessional Engineer licensure in North Carolina (or ability to acquire it through reciprocity within 3 months)15+ years of industry experienceB.S.
