Position Overview:

As a Civil Project Manager at DKE, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the preparation of site layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater quality, sustainable design, utility improvements, and off-site street and infrastructure improvement plans. You will lead project design efforts, supervise and mentor project engineers and drafters, and interface directly with clients to ensure project coordination and design excellence. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, and profitability while maintaining the highest standards of technical content and quality control.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and oversee project design from inception to completion.
• Supervise and direct project engineers and drafters, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Interface with clients on project coordination and design, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Establish project fees, manage budgets, and scheduling commitments in collaboration with the management team.
• Track project costs and timing to ensure fulfillment of contract commitments and profitability.
• Serve as a Project Engineer or Design Engineer on projects as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in site planning, stormwater quality and quantity control, hydrology, grading, utility design, roadways, parking facilities, and all other aspects of site development.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
• P.E. license in California.
• Working knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards applicable to major site development projects in California.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, Hydrology and Hydraulic, WaterCAD, Flowmaster, etc., with Civil3D experience being a plus.
