This role acts as the primary liaison between civil engineers, architects, contractors, consultants, and government agencies. It requires expertise in civil engineering principles, project management, and affordable housing development.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Oversight of civil design (not hands-on design work)Guide civil engineers and ensure complianceReview site designs, utilities, stormwater systems, and permittingCoordinate with architects and large earthwork firmsProblem-solving and critical thinkingGeographic knowledge across the U.S.Senior-level role with strong leadershipMonitor entitlement processes and maintain communication with agenciesReview due diligence documents and integrate findings into designsOversee third-party civil design deliverables (site plans, grading, drainage, utilities, lighting, landscaping)Ensure coordination among civil, landscape, architectural, structural, and MEP consultantsApprove civil drawings at all stagesRecommend value engineering strategiesParticipate in bidding and proposal evaluationsDevelop design standards and historical databasesMentor team membersTravel to project sites as neededMust Haves:Bachelor's degree in civil engineeringPE license preferred10+ years in civil engineering, construction management, or project management (multi-family housing experience strongly preferred)Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, project management tools, and MS OfficeStrong knowledge of building codes and zoning regulationsExcellent communication and organizational skillsSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject ManagementIndustriesCivil EngineeringReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Insight Global by 2xGet notified about new Project Manager jobs in Dallas, TX .#J-18808-Ljbffr
