    Job Description

    Civil Professional Engineer (PE) Position Overview:

    We are seeking a licensed Civil Professional Engineer (PE) to join our growing civil engineering division of our multi-disciplinary firm. The successful candidate will lead the design and management of land development and infrastructure projects, mentor junior staff, and serve as a client liaison. This is a key role with direct involvement in design strategy, permitting, and project delivery.

    Key Responsibilities :
    • Lead and manage civil/site design projects from concept through construction.
    • Prepare and review site plans, grading plans, stormwater management systems, utility layouts, and erosion control designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
    • Oversee and participate in the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and permit applications.
    • Coordinate and communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams across disciplines.
    • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
    • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
    • Support business development through client relationship building and proposal assistance.
    Qualifications :
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's a plus).
    • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
    • 5-10 years of experience in civil/site development, including permitting and design.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; additional software experience (HydroCAD, StormCAD, etc.) is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., MassDEP, Conservation Commissions).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven ability to lead projects and manage teams effectively.
