Role Description

OPEN TO CONTRACT TERM, PART TIME or FULL TIME.

This OPENING is either for a a full-time on-site role for an employee Associate Attorney, part time, or on some contract term at Feldman Legal Group in Tampa, FL. We can also consider ATLANTA, Georgia. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, working on cases, and managing the day to day of a number of cases, which are primarily involving Employment Law cases. You will have opportunity to work on other civil cases in various other causes of action in state and federal court and workers compensation cases. You will have the opportunity to earn bonus compensation based upon performance and production.

Qualifications

• Employment Law skills, or interest in the same
• Experience in providing legal advice and conducting research
• Negotiation skills
• Civil litigation experience
• deposition experience
• 'courtroom experience
• Excellent legal writing skills
• Ability to manage a case, handle the day to day of a civil litigation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• preferably federal civil experience
• 2 years civil litigation experience - employment, commercial, other
• desire to become a trial lawyer and learn and lead
• willingness to work hard and direct staff on work flow
• availability to start within 30 days from today.
• Florida Bar or Georgia Bar required
