About the Role
Crew Connectors is hiring a Litigation Assistant for a leading mid-size Los Angeles law firm with a strong civil litigation practice representing venture-backed tech companies, startups, and founders across complex business matters.
The firm operates with a highly collaborative, high-performance team structure where attorneys and staff work closely together. This role is more operations-driven than a traditional paralegal position, combining litigation support with high-level administrative execution for attorneys and partners.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating at the center of case activity, attorney workflow, and day-to-day office execution.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Litigation Assistant with 1–5 years of civil litigation experience to support attorneys across both litigation workflows and administrative operations.
This role places a strong emphasis on calendaring, court filings, document preparation, and litigation organization, while also supporting attorneys with administrative responsibilities such as travel coordination and expense management.
The ideal candidate is structured, process-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities across active litigation matters while keeping attorneys organized and on track.
Key Responsibilities
Litigation Support
- Support attorneys through all stages of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Prepare, format, and file legal documents in California state and federal courts (including e-filing)
- Maintain and track litigation deadlines, court dates, and case calendars with precision
- Draft, format, and finalize pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Create and manage Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities
- Prepare and assemble litigation binders, exhibits, and court-ready materials
- Assist with discovery coordination, document organization, and case file maintenance
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, and trial logistics
Calendaring & Court Procedures
- Own and manage attorney calendars, including court deadlines, hearings, and key litigation milestones
- Ensure compliance with court rules, filing deadlines, and procedural requirements
- Track and update all case-related deadlines across multiple matters
Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage attorney expense reports and reimbursements
- Coordinate corporate travel for attorneys and partners, including flights, hotels, and itineraries
- Assist with document organization, scanning, and file management across systems
- Serve as a central point of coordination between attorneys, clients, and external vendors
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in civil litigation support (litigation assistant or paralegal background)
- Strong experience with California state and federal court filings
- Advanced calendaring experience, including litigation deadline tracking (Deadlines.com or similar preferred)
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and execution skills
- Ability to manage multiple active matters in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
- Experience preparing Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities
- Familiarity with litigation procedures, court rules, and filing requirements
- Comfortable handling both legal and administrative responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $75,000 – $87,500 per year, depending on experience
