The Case Manager/Paralegal will be responsible for the following: Proper and Efficient Use of ClioCapturing all billable and non-billable time workedParticipating in Case ReviewsSetting and Completing TasksTrial Notebook PreparationDrafting Legal Documents with Attorney SupervisionCalendaring Court Appearances, Mediations, and DepositionsScheduling and Participating in New Client Case Manager MeetingsCommunicating with Clients and Other Legal ProfessionalsProcessing MailPayments- Accepting, processing, and depositing client payments The ultimate goal of the Case Manager is to optimize the client experience and manage the client/firm relationship from start to finish. Fundamental office management aptitude is a must. The successful Case Manager can multitask and prioritize. Knowing when to handle case aspects in a hands-on, direct, and autonomous fashion is key, as is the know-how to escalate to an attorney or a leadership staff member. Sound judgment and a positive attitude are imperative to the position. This position is intended to support both internal relationships (attorneys, staff, partners) and external relationships (billable clients). Our team members are trained with innovative business systems that foster a commitment to high legal quality as well as respect, confidentiality, and compassion for our clients. Paralegal experience preferred, but not required. Strong organizational skills are a must.
