OverviewLocations: Atlanta, GA | Birmingham, AL | Charlotte, NC | Dallas, TX | Lexington, KY | RemoteAlpha Executive Search is partnering with a nationally recognized engineering and design firm to identify a Civil Engineer who will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of complex industrial and commercial development projects.This is an opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving challenging site development and infrastructure problems, collaborating across disciplines, and contributing to projects from concept through construction. Whether you've recently earned your PE or have extensive project leadership experience, we're interested in speaking with civil engineers who have strong site design expertise and advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D capabilities.What You'll DoLead and support civil design efforts for industrial and commercial projectsDevelop site improvement plans, grading plans, utility layouts, drainage systems, and infrastructure designsPrepare construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reportsAnalyze site conditions including topography, utilities, drainage, zoning, environmental constraints, and constructabilityCoordinate with clients, contractors, architects, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary engineering teamsConduct site visits and field observations to support design accuracy and project executionReview designs for compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and permitting requirementsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineersSupport projects throughout planning, design, permitting, construction, and closeout phasesWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferredActive Professional Engineering (PE) License REQUIREDAdvanced AutoCAD Civil 3D experience REQUIREDExperience with civil site design, land development, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructureExperience preparing site plans, profiles, construction drawings, and engineering documentationKnowledge of civil engineering standards, permitting requirements, and regulatory complianceStrong communication and collaboration skills with clients, project teams, and external stakeholdersPreferred ExperienceIndustrial manufacturing, food & beverage, data center, distribution, life sciences, or advanced technology project experienceExperience with stormwater modeling and drainage analysisExperience in calculating earthwork quantities and developing roadway and utility profilesExperience leading project coordination efforts across multiple disciplinesFamiliarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and other civil engineering design softwareInterest in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement initiativesPlease note: Candidates must possess an active Professional Engineering (PE) License and hands-on AutoCAD Civil 3D site design experience to be considered for this role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
