In this role, you will take ownership of civil and structural design tasks, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and support project delivery with increasing technical independence.You will apply your experience in site design, foundations, and structural analysis while continuing to grow your technical depth and professional judgment.What Your Day Will Look LikeContribute to civil engineering design for electric substation projects from concept through constructionDevelop and review civil site grading and drainage designsDesign reinforced concrete foundations for substation structuresPerform above‑grade structural analysis for steel, concrete, aluminum, and other materialsCoordinate with internal teams to review, check, and advance engineering deliverablesApply sound engineering judgment to develop practical, cost‑effective solutionsEnsure work aligns with QA/QC standards and project requirementsManage tasks to meet project schedules and budgets, proactively communicating risks or constraintsParticipate in client coordination and technical discussions with support from project leadershipMentor entry‑level engineers and contribute to a collaborative team environmentWhat You'll Bring to the FamiliaEssentials to SucceedBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering3+ years of civil or structural engineering experienceStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skillsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 25%What Will Make You Stand OutE.I.T. certification, or PE License or willingness to obtain within 1 yearExperience with design and analysis tools such as Civil3D, AutoCAD, or RISAFamiliarity with PDF tools like Bluebeam or AdobeExposure to substation, utilities, or power delivery projectsReady to make an impact?
