Position Summary:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
CAS is looking to hire a Civil Engineering Candidate having the ability to efficiently plan and organize their workload with their team, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, a commitment to quality, good communication skills, and a positive work ethic. Experience in water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection are needed. Experience in stormwater design and management is a plus.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Candidate shall work on various aspects of civil engineering design,
plan preparation, permitting and construction oversight while working in a
project team environment.<\/span>
<\/li> - Planning, design, and construction management of infrastructure
projects focusing on water and wastewater projects but could include other
infrastructure projects. Projects may include the following: Wastewater
Conveyance and Pump Stations; Water Supply; Water Distribution and
Storage; Master planning services including hydraulic modeling, and more.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate would contribute to projects including collecting existing
utility data; performing modeling and simulation; site grading; water
distribution system; sanitary sewer collection system; drainage analysis;
roadway alignment; pavement marking; signage; and erosion control.<\/span>
<\/li> - Prepare project
design drawings utilizing AutoCAD and other design software is a plus.<\/span>
<\/li> - Develop project
specific detail drawings.<\/span>
<\/li> - Calculate
project construction quantity estimates.<\/span>
<\/li> - Preparation of technical
specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related
tasks.<\/span>
<\/li> - Coordinate with
team members and client representatives.<\/span>
<\/li> - Periodic travel
to project sites for field investigation and or construction support.<\/span>
<\/li> - Project
outlines, project initiation, project schedules, project executions, and
project closeout.<\/span>
<\/li> - Interface with
multi -disciplinary design teams. <\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Requirements:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.<\/b><\/span>
<\/b><\/li> - E.I.T./F.E.
Certification is a must.<\/b><\/span>
<\/b><\/li> - Professional
Engineer (PE) license is required.<\/b><\/span>
<\/li> - Must be Authorized to Work in the U.S.<\/span>
<\/li> - Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to
travel to job sites.<\/span>
<\/li> - Ability to pass pre -employment background checks and drug testing.<\/span>
<\/li> - Fluent in English.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul> Qualifications:<\/b><\/span>
<\/div>- 10+ years of
relevant experience is preferred but less experienced candidates will be
considered.<\/span>
<\/li> - Experience on
utility, drainage, and roadway projects.<\/span>
<\/li> - Experience with
AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.<\/span>
<\/li> - Excellent
technical writing skills.<\/span>
