Position Summary:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

CAS is looking to hire a Civil Engineering Candidate having the ability to efficiently plan and organize their workload with their team, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, a commitment to quality, good communication skills, and a positive work ethic. Experience in water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection is needed. Experience in storm -water design and management is a plus.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

• Candidate shall work on various aspects of civil engineering design, plan preparation, permitting and construction oversight while working in a project team environment.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Planning, design, and construction management of infrastructure projects focusing on water and wastewater projects but could include other infrastructure projects. Projects may include the following: Wastewater Conveyance and Pump Stations; Water Supply; Water Distribution and Storage; Master planning services including hydraulic modeling, and more.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Candidate would contribute to projects including collecting existing utility data; performing modeling and simulation; site grading; water distribution system; sanitary sewer collection system; drainage analysis; roadway alignment; pavement marking; signage; and erosion control.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Prepare project design drawings utilizing AutoCAD and other design software is a plus.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Develop project specific detail drawings.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Calculate project construction quantity estimates.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Preparation of technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related tasks.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coordinate with team members and client representatives.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Periodic travel to project sites for field investigation and or construction support.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Project outlines, project initiation, project schedules, project executions, and project closeout.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Interface with multi -disciplinary design teams. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li><\/ul>

  Requirements:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
  <\/p>

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.<\/b><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • E.I.T./F.E. Certification is a must.<\/b><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.<\/b><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Must be Authorized to Work in the U.S.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to travel to job sites.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to pass pre -employment background checks and drug testing.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Fluent in English.<\/span><\/span>

     Qualifications:<\/b><\/span><\/span>

    • 10+ years of relevant experience is preferred but less experienced candidates will be considered.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience on utility, drainage, and roadway projects.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent technical writing skills.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong client relationship skills.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong organizational skills.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility and initiative.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work on several projects and assist in meeting deliverable requirements.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract requirements.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to commute to construction sites (when necessary).<\/span><\/span>
