Civil Engineer, Land Development Project Manager

AllTek Staffing is partnering with a large regional civil engineering firm that is looking for a full time Civil Engineer, Land Development Project Manager for their Bridgeport, Wv location. This is one of the larger firms in the area and they have an excellent track record of work. This is a direct hire role that comes with a salary, healthcare and PTO.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Oversee preparation of construction plans; perform or review calculations for design, grade lines, alignments, and drainage.
  • Oversee preparation plans for permitting and construction of land development projects which include design, layout, grading, drainage, and E & S controls.
  • Prepare detailed project cost estimates.
  • Mentor junior staff.
  • Assist clients with bidding and construction administration.
  • Work with construction inspection personnel, as required, and review daily field reports to assure that contracted work accomplishes the intent of the contract documents.
  • Coordinate and maintain all aspects of project management including client communication, financial management, and internal / external team coordination.
  • Participate in business development activities such as client meetings, proposals, RFQ submissions, and strategic planning with the division leader and marketing staff.

Education and Experience: A BS from ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering. Other engineering degrees will be considered based on relevant experience and qualifications. 5-15 years of experience is preferred. PE Certification is required.
