Position Overview

Join our dynamic Greenville team as a key player in executing impactful infrastructure projects. This role involves engaging with project stakeholders to successfully manage wastewater initiatives while enhancing our civil engineering services. Your expertise will guide the planning, design, and supervision of various construction and maintenance projects, including urban infrastructure such as roads, bridges, water management systems, and civil facilities. Your contribution will be crucial to supporting the strategic initiatives and values of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive documentation, precise guidelines, and specifications for the manufacturing and construction of various systems and structures.
  • Conducting in-depth analysis to understand core principles and derive strategic solutions.
  • Designing cost-efficient conceptual layouts and conducting feasibility assessments for civil projects.
  • Critically analyzing and providing feedback on design proposals for treatment and infrastructure systems.
  • Collaborating with lead engineers to manage and document project scope changes effectively.
  • Evaluating and interpreting technical data to inform design modifications and project plans.
  • Performing feasibility studies for essential infrastructure developments, with a focus on sustainable water and wastewater systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering and a professional engineering license are mandatory.
  • Over 15 years of hands-on civil-site engineering experience, with a strong grasp of civil stormwater analysis tools such as SSA, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or ICPR.
  • Proficient in navigating and interpreting local and state development codes.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with occasional on-site visits to collect project information.
  • Flexibility in work hours, including non-traditional schedules, is required to meet project timelines.
  • Willingness to travel for brief periods (2-5 days) as required.
