The ideal candidate will have knowledge of or be willing to learn:
Tasks in other practice areas within the company and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Water resources engineering and stormwater management design
Site layout and regulatory analysis including zoning and ordinance review
Grading design and earthwork analysis
Construction administration, site visits, and construction observation
Sustainable design practices and low impact development (LID) strategies
Technical writing including reports, letters, and permit applications
Utility and infrastructure design including water, sanitary, and storm systems
Use of Civil 3D for design, grading, and plan production
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and grow within the company
This opportunity requires:
Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and/or related field
License/Certification
Engineer-In-Training and/or a desire to obtain certification
