Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is currently seeking talented Civil Engineerwith experience in either site, roadway, municipal or airports. Also a background in lighting/signage installation, navigational aids, drainage improvements, utility relocation / protection, and pavement rehabilitation) to join our team in **Des Moines, Iowa** . **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Developing civil airfield design, municipal projects, site design and construction improvement documents + Coordinating with planning and design team members, contractors, and sub-consultants for ongoing planning, design, and construction projects + Performing civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports + Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of engineering and municipal projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, drainage improvements, utility relocation and protection, and pavement rehabilitation + Will be involved with projects from start to completion including planning, design, and construction administration, including grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans + Collaborating and/or coordinating delivery teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and technicians + AutoCAD or MicroStation 3D modeling mentoring + Supervise, coordinated, and production of several projects concurrently. + Establishes positive client relationships + Coordinate with clients, funding agencies, state aviation officials, FAA, and local permit Agencies + Includes regular site visits during the design and construction phases of improvement projects throughout the United States **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education **Preferred Qualifications:** + Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D Design or Open Roads Designer + Experience with civil site development or airfield design and construction + EI or PE, preferably State of Iowa **Additional Information** + Relocation is available for this position + Sponsorship is not available for this position Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
