Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer Position Purpose A Civil Engineer is responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet safety standards and regulations while addressing environmental impacts. Our projects will focus on land development standards that comply with all local, state, and federal regulations. This position is not open for sponsorship.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsDesign sites (parking, sidewalks, grading, utilities, erosion controls, stormwater management) are associated with new and renovated buildings.Comply with local, state, and federal stormwater regulations (detention/retention)Meet with clients and government agencies as needed throughout the design process.Manage design projects from conception to completion based on experience and project types.Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulationsTravel: up to 20%Competencies Experience in multi-disciplined design teams.Can work effectively as a member of a team and can work independently.Excellent communication and time management skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Autodesk Civil 3DQualifications / Prior Experience Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related design field preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredANC and SC PE is a plus.
