Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design, construction, and integration of the Sentinel launch infrastructure at locations to include Vandenberg AFB, CA, F.E. Warren AFB, WY, Malmstrom AFB, MT, and Minot AFB, ND. Sentinel is a vital US Air Force program that will recapitalize the nation's aging ground-based leg of the nuclear triad -- the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). We invite you to join our team for this phenomenal opportunity to design the future ICBM!

This is an on-site position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (i.e., every other Friday off), paid overtime, and a great work/life balance. For candidates not local to the Ogden area, a relocation allowance can be provided.

Key Duties:

  • Support design development of Civil Site engineering designs for the Sentinel program by preparing studies, drawings, and evaluations, following applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements.
  • Work with other Civil Designers/Engineers and technical disciplines in a team environment.
  • Originate and check Civil Site deliverables of moderate complexity, including drawings and 3-D models of earthwork/site design.
  • Review Civil/Structural deliverables of moderate complexity, including drawings and 3-D models for steel and concrete.
  • Interpret and verify industry standards, guidelines, and codes for project deliverables.
  • Report design quantities compared to estimated quantities.
  • Work with Civil/Structural supervisors to plan, budget, and schedule drawing and 3-D model deliverables within the discipline.
  • Participate in project design/model reviews.
  • Participate in constructability reviews.
  • Review and coordinate technical documents with/from other engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction.
