Summary:
A Civil Engineering Firm that specializes in engineering design and surveying for light industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential uses is looking for a Civil Project Manager. In this position you will be preparing plans and specifications, design considerations and reports and permit applications for various types of Civil Engineering projects. Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software is strongly desired.
Job Responsibilities:
* Manage civil engineering projects within the residential design team, focusing on subdivisions and multifamily developments in Coastal Georgia.
* Create detailed plans, specifications, reports, and permitting documentation for project approvals.
* Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D
* Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and ensure alignment with project objectives.
* Mentor and train junior staff members and CAD technicians to enhance team capabilities.
* Work closely with Land Development Managers to ensure seamless project execution.
Job Requirements:
* PE license in Georgia or South Carolina - ability to obtain within 6 months.
* Bachelor"s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D: including roadway design, grading, and utility layout.
* Experience in residential land development design.
* Skilled in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using ICPR and SSA
* Comprehensive knowledge of drainage system design principles
* Familiarity with grading, planning, and zoning regulations
