Civil Construction Estimator

We're partnering with a civil construction company and conducting a search for a Construction Estimator. If you have experience estimating civil projects and are looking to join a respected contractor with diverse and exciting work, this could be a great opportunity.

Title: Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for a range of civil projects, including water systems, utilities, bridges, highways, and structural concrete
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop accurate scopes of work
• Mentor Project Engineers involved in the estimating process
• Collaborate with Project Managers to transition awarded projects into construction phase
• Track submitted bids and refine estimating strategies based on outcomes

Qualifications:

• Prior estimating experience in civil construction

• Strong understanding of contract language, bid preparation, and project takeoffs

• Ability to mentor and develop junior engineering staff
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
