We are seeking a passionate and motivated Civil CAD Designer to join our dynamic Engineering team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, utilizing their skills in grading surface modeling, site design, determining earthwork volumes, reading construction drawings, and using AutoCAD 3D and Civil 3D. Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Civil CAD Designer, you will be responsible for:

1. Preparing detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD 3D and Civil 3D.
2. Utilizing skills in grading surface modeling to develop and design site layouts.
3. Determining earthwork volumes and creating accurate and detailed reports.
4. Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
5. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs are accurate and meet project requirements.
6. Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
7. Participating in project meetings and providing input on design strategies and problem resolution.
8. Updating and maintaining project documentation and records.
9. Continually keeping abreast of industry trends, technologies, and CAD design best practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D and Civil 3D.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in grading surface modeling and site design.
4. Proven ability to determine earthwork volumes and read construction drawings.
5. A degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
6. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
8. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
9. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
