Step into a hands-on role where precision, sanitation, and teamwork keep our lines running smoothly. As a Technician II, you support production leadership, elevate efficiency, and help train others while upholding SQF and GMP standards on a fast-paced food manufacturing line.
A day in your role
- Start up and connect CIP systems per Quality Manual procedures; verify proper setup every time.
- Operate filler and demolding equipment; monitor performance, complete light troubleshooting, and keep machines clean and in spec.
- Back up Class I operators as needed and pitch in wherever the line requires.
- Spot issues early—product defects, mechanical concerns—and communicate immediately to supervisors and maintenance.
- Keep the area audit-ready: washdowns, sanitizing, and general cleanup.

- Strong adherence to GMPs and documented operating procedures.
- Efficient, consistent line performance with minimal downtime.
- Clear, timely communication across Production, QA, and Maintenance.
- Low incident rate and adherence to safety protocols.
- Problem identification coupled with practical solutions.
- Control of losses within allowance targets while meeting V & V Supremo Foods, Inc. quality expectations.

- Plant Manager, Production Supervisors, Quality Associates, and the Maintenance team

What you bring
- Safety-first mindset and effective communication skills.
- Capability to perform duties across Classes V, IV, and III.
- Problem-solving ability and basic mechanical aptitude (preferred).
- Knowledge of GMPs (preferred) and proficiency in food and beverage manufacturing.
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).

If the supervisor is absent, escalate food safety concerns to designated peers of equal authority. Refer to the responsibility org chart or ask your supervisor for clarification.

WORK ENVIROMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Production roles are performed in a food manufacturing environment and require strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards, including use of required PPE. Employees may work in areas with variable temperatures, machinery noise, and exposure to food ingredients and sanitation chemicals. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and regularly lifting up to 25–35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance).
