Job Summary and Qualifications

Summary:

  • Performs data analysis for transplant and cellular therapy patients in accordance to regulatory and registry reporting requirements. Responsible for data quality, accuracy, and timely entries into databases.
  • Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Submission of accurate data to CIBMTR.
  • Timely tracking and enrollment of stem cell transplant patients into federally mandated reporting systems.
  • Input post-transplant and cellular therapy data into StafaCT.
  • Complies with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Completes the Comprehensive Report Forms (CRF).
  • Performs timely and accurate collection of all stem cell transplant information and follow-up information from the patient medical record and the patient’s providers.
  • Manages the collection of data and extrapolates healthcare information for entry into database system.
  • Accurate completion of TED (Transplant Essential Data) and CTED (Cellular Therapeutic Essential Data) forms.
  • Provides all patient follow up and statistics as request by the stem cell transplant program.
  • Incorporates cost-effectiveness into daily practice.
  • Oversees and participates in internal and external data audits, as specified by the data analytics manager
  • As directed by the data analytics manager, will be responsible for training and resourcing new data analysts
  • Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.”
  • During your employment with Sarah Cannon, you will be routinely assigned training requirements. You are expected to complete any training assignments by the due date.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years CIBMTR analyst experience
  • Understand how to enter data inro the various required databases.
  • Assumes accountability and responsibility for the quality and accuracy of data entry into mandated databases.
  • Mentor, train and support staff to further enhance their professional development.
  • Actively participate in achieving the goals of individual department and/or program.
  • Works independently analyzing patient information and treatment pathways, with the ability to interpret medical terminology in oncology, and accurately enters data into CIBMTR databas.
  • Represents the organization positively within the community; participates in company-supported community/patient events and in-services.
  • Provides education and training for new staff.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and self-motivation in performing job duties and a willingness to assist others.
  • Collaborative working relationship with the CIBMTR liaison to ensure timely data submission.
  • Participates in activities and act as a leader in promoting best practices, department specific initiatives and process improvement.
  • Integrates the management of information through effective communication skills in daily practice.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
