Kforce has a client that is seeking a Church Executive Administrative Support Assistant in Saint Louis, MO. Overview: This role provides high-level administrative and operational support to church leadership, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and effective ministry coordination. This role blends executive administrative support with ministry coordination, requiring both operational efficiency and a deep commitment to the church's mission. It is ideal for someone who can manage complex schedules, lead events, maintain confidentiality, and serve as a trusted point of contact for leadership and the congregation. This position supports pastors, elders, and ministry directors by managing schedules, coordinating events, maintaining records, and facilitating communication. The assistant acts as a liaison between leadership, staff, congregation, and external partners, ensuring confidentiality and alignment with the church's mission and values. Key Responsibilities:
  • Calendar & Scheduling: Manage leadership calendars, schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Meeting & Event Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, training sessions, team-building activities, and special events
  • Correspondence & Communication: Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations; handle phone, email, and text communications on behalf of leadership
  • Record & File Management: Maintain confidential records, expense reports, and ministry leader reports
  • Budget & Expense Support: Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and inventory management
  • Logistics & Operations: Coordinate facilities, room reservations, and hospitality for events and guests
  • Publicity & Communications: Prepare brochures, newsletters, signage, and update church websites
  • Volunteer & Office Support: Oversee office volunteers, manage supplies, and train staff on administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion
  • Experience in a church, nonprofit, or executive assistant role preferred
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or outside standard hours

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
