    Position at Punkin Patch Childcare

    Now hiring a Floating Assistant Director! This position will support our centers in the Red Lion, York, Harrisburg area, with a home-base at Punkin Patch Preschool in Red Lion.
    We are a licensed childcare center seeking a FloatingAssistant Director! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic leader in training who is passionate about early childhood education.  
    To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require previous managerial and/or administrative experience in a licensed childcare center. An associate degree or CDA is required.
    Required Shift: Monday - Friday, ability to open or close when needed
    Compensation: $20-22 per hour, based on education and experience

    Main Job Responsibilities:  
    • Assist the Directors with developing and executing an on-going program of activities that contribute to the care, growth and development of the children and staff.  
    • Assist the Directors with enrollment activities, including tours, distribution of marketing materials to potential families.  
    • Assist the Directors with ensuring all State and Company Regulations are always being followed using Licensing Checks.  
    • Provide guidance to teachers for creative curriculum, lesson plans, and classroom organization.  
    • Establish professional and supportive relationships with parents and employees connected to the operation of the center. 
    • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running and climbing stairs. 
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
