Child & Family Support Specialist (Therapeutic Mentor)

Location: HBT

Salary Range: $22\u2013$24/hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide individualized and flexible services to youth and families with multiple needs
  • Deliver interventions designed to maximize skills and strengths
  • Support families through structured, strength-based therapeutic relationships
  • Assist with implementing individualized plans developed by families and providers
  • Engage youth and families to reduce child protective concerns and encourage resiliency
  • Participate in clinical services and assessments to support emotional and behavioral needs

What You Bring:

  • Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred plus 1 year experience, OR
  • Lived experience plus 5+ years working with children and families
  • Essential Skills:
  • Experience working with children and families with significant mental health or behavioral challenges
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
  • Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Fluency in English required; multilingual skills a bonus
  • Preferred:
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn
  • Lived experience valued
