POSITION SUMMARYThe Child Caretakers provide professional care for infants to toddlers in the context of a child's first church experience. The payrate for this position is $25 an hour.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide professional, loving and engaged care for infants and toddlers and their parents.
Full compliance with Safe Church, and all Trinity HR and privacy policies and required trainings
Provide hands on Childcare and Supervision, including but not limited to: feeding, dressing, diapering, toileting support as needed, (within policy compliance), separation as per parent's instruction, model and enforce Trinity's safety and security policies, maintain and enforce Trinity health and hygiene policies, maintain and enforce Trinity space usage policies,
Provide support and communication to parents, other staff, and volunteers.
Maintain awareness and sensitivity for all children with special needs, allergies, known medical or emotional needs, as per parent/guardian's instructions and Trinity policies.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Minimum 3-5 years professional experience working with infants and toddlers
Excellent oral communication
Previous employer references
Patience and warmth for children and parents
Available to work on any Sunday morning
Detail oriented
Friendly
Reliable
Covid Vaccination proof
Able to work collaboratively
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS
Minimum 2-5 years professional experience in childcare
First Aid/Infant/Child CPR certified, a plus
Excellent ability to engage with children at their developmental level
Experience/training with event management systems
Experience with NY State Health and Safety policies
