Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Child Care Assistant to join our team! You will be working alongside a Teacher to encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Work as a team to provide quality care
- Create and conduct classroom enrichment activities
- Provide meal time assistance
- Help with classroom house keeping to keep the classroom clean and organized
- Assist Teachers in observations to insure children are meeting developmental milestones
- Communicate with staff, students, and their families
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a childcare provider is beneficial but not required. Training is provided.
- Strong understanding of child development and a desire to continue to learn
- Patient, kind, and nurturing in nature
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Willingness to take all required trainings
