An inpatient facility is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in south central Minnesota.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, and involves treating patients with mental illness, chemical dependency, developmental disabilities, and sex offense histories. The locum will manage the full patient panel with no caseload splitting, caring for up to 16 patients. Candidates must be board-certified in General Psychiatry, and while Child & Adolescent Psychiatry certification is preferred, extensive child experience may also be considered. The role includes a Clinical Director component, but administrative duties are minimal due to strong support from another team member, allowing the Psychiatrist to focus on patient care and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, including APRN partners.
