Chief Program Officer

ABOUT THIS POSITION
The Chief Program Officer is responsible for leading and overseeing Open Door Mission''s programs, ensuring they deliver comprehensive, Christ-centered support that meets the client''s spiritual and practical needs. It manages program leadesr, drives effectiveness and compliance, and aligns services with the organization''s mission and vision. This position supports long-term planning, collaboration, partnerships, budgeting, and staff development. Serves as a member of the Open Door Mission Senior Leadership Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide supervision of Program Directors, Permanent Supportive Housing Manger, Adult Education Coordinator, and Children and Youth Coordinator.
- Ensure the efficacy of the overarching ministry program, philosophy, and focus that meets the spiritual, developmental, physical, and social needs of men, women, and families served at Open Door Mission.
- Provide operational oversight of Open Door Mission program facilities.
- Provide oversight of designated program operations idenitfying needs and opportunities for development.
- Assist direct reports with the creation of policies and procedures evaluation and updating as necessary.
- Build and maintain relationship with local community memebrs, churches, and other organizations acting as a liason for Open Door Mission.
- Oversee the creation and delegation of program department budgets ensuring proper documentation and budget alignment.
- Exemplify Jesus Christ daily, sharing the gospel or praying with others as opportunities arise.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor''s degree in Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in nonprofit program management.
- Must have 2-3 years'' experiences in public speaking and/or media-related work.
- A visible relationship with Christ and regularly attend a Bible-believing church.
- The ability to share the Gospel as opportunities arise.
