As the Chief of Provider, Family, and Safety Net Programs, you will lead a diverse portfolio of programs that strengthen access to care, support providers across the Commonwealth, oversee critical safety net initiatives, and advance policies that improve health outcomes for children, families, and justice-involved individuals. This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to shape programs that have a direct impact on residents, health care providers, and communities, while collaborating with senior leaders across state government to advance MassHealth''s mission.
The selected candidate will provide strategic leadership for complex operational, policy, and programmatic initiatives while guiding multidisciplinary teams responsible for provider programs, provider enrollment and claims operations, family-focused initiatives, and safety net services. This position offers the opportunity to influence statewide health care policy, strengthen partnerships with providers and stakeholders, lead large-scale operational improvements, and develop innovative solutions to emerging challenges. MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have at least (A) seven (7) years of full-time or, equivalent part-time, professional, administrative, supervisory, or managerial experience in business administration, business management, public administration, public management, clinical administration or clinical management of which (B) at least four (4) years must have been in a managerial capacity.
Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate's years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division's Hiring Guidelines. For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
