Park West Health System is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist or PMHNP to serve as our Chief of Behavioral Health/Behavioral Health Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of an integrated behavioral health program while continuing to provide direct patient care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, the Chief of Behavioral Health/Behavioral Health Clinical Lead is responsible for the strategic, clinical, and operational leadership of the Behavioral Health Department. This position provides oversight of an integrated multidisciplinary behavioral health team while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered behavioral health services across all Park West Health System locations.
The Chief of Behavioral Health serves as the designated Behavioral Health Clinical Lead for the organization and is responsible for departmental planning, program development, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, provider supervision, behavioral health integration, and clinical excellence across Behavioral Health services.
In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Chief of Behavioral Health maintains an active clinical practice and provides direct patient care through psychiatric evaluations, medication management, consultation, treatment planning, and collaborative care services.
This position may be filled by either a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with demonstrated behavioral health leadership experience.
Training and Experience
What We Offer
Competitive compensation based on licensure and experience
Psychiatrist (MD/DO): $250,000 - $270,000 annually
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP): $155,000 - $165,000 annually
