Description:
• The role of Chief Nursing Officer is a full-time, onsite position located in Newark, NJ, operating Monday through Friday from 09:00am to 05:00pm.
• This executive leadership position oversees nursing practices, clinical support operations, and patient safety within a healthcare network.
• The role requires proficiency in data-driven management and generic technology systems.
Requirements:
• Develop and implement clinical support service plans.
• Establish evidence-based policies for clinical operations.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
• Serve as Risk Manager for incident investigations and emergency preparedness.
• Collaborate in creating training programs and competency tracking systems.
• Build community partnerships to enhance nursing leadership.
Qualifications:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; BSN required.
• Master's Degree strongly preferred.
• 10 years of progressive leadership in ambulatory/primary care or community health.
• Experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) preferred.
• Demonstrated success in survey readiness and quality assurance initiatives.
• Expertise in infection prevention and emergency preparedness.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and data-driven management.
