Our client, a rapidly expanding technology consulting firm supporting commercial, federal, and state clients, is seeking a Chief Growth Executive to lead and advance its growth function. This is a rare leadership opportunity for a senior business development or growth executive who is ready to take ownership of a high-impact revenue mandate within an organization with a strong history of year-over-year growth.

Based in Arlington, Virginia, this hybrid role is well suited to an executive who can bring structure, energy, and strategic direction to an evolving growth platform while partnering closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CEO to gradually earn broader decision-making authority, with a clear path toward full ownership of the growth function.
  • Represent the company as a senior ambassador at client meetings, conferences, and industry events, bringing a visible, energetic executive presence.
  • Lead the company’s overall growth agenda, including expanding and diversifying revenue into additional sectors.
  • Establish and strengthen a personal network across adjacent technologies and industries to unlock new revenue opportunities.
  • Build, guide, mentor, and scale a business development team that includes BD directors and capture managers.
  • Collaborate with EVPs, marketing, and delivery leadership to create an aligned, integrated growth engine.
  • Introduce and improve BD processes, pipeline management practices, and go-to-market strategies with fresh thinking, while avoiding unnecessary disruption.

Requirements

  • Strong relationship-driven approach, high energy, and comfort operating in a fast-moving, conference-heavy, street-level BD environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and win a meaningful pipeline and book of business.
  • Proven senior-level experience in business development or growth leadership, ideally within or adjacent to a major systems integrator or large consulting firm.
  • Ability to work effectively with a founder-oriented leadership team, building trust over time while making a tangible early impact.
  • Established network of relationships across commercial or private-sector industries and relevant technologies.
  • Experience leading and mentoring BD teams, with the executive presence and communication style needed to motivate teams and represent the company externally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior C-suite or VP-level title with responsibility for revenue targets.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or the wider IT service management ecosystem.
  • Experience supporting a company as it moves from a concentrated niche into a broader market, including helping shape and execute that transition.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $240,000 - $320,000 depending on experience
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Additional workplace perks and employee-focused benefit
