Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all accounting, budgeting, forecasting, audit, grant management, and financial operations for the organization.

Schedule & Benefits

  • Full-Time Executive Leadership Position- Monday- Friday 8 to 5
  • Salary Range $150,000 to $175,000 Plus, Based on Experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead all financial operations, accounting functions, and fiscal planning.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash management, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and KPI tracking.
  • Prepare financial statements, board reports, and executive-level financial analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage grant and contract finances, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
  • Direct annual audit preparation and serve as primary liaison with external auditors.
  • Oversee billing, collections, and revenue cycle processes to optimize cash flow.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and organizational development.
  • Supervise finance department staff and support professional development.
  • Ensure organizational assets and financial records are properly maintained and protected.
  • Participate as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Onsite Position Only
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting leadership.
  • Experience with grant administration, contract management, budgeting, and audits.
  • Non-profit healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, or healthcare industry experience.
  • Experience managing multiple funding sources, grants, and government contracts.
  • Track record of improving financial processes and operational efficiencies.
