La Casa Family Health Center | Portales, NM La Casa Family Health Center is a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving a diverse rural community with comprehensive primary care, behavioral health, dental, and enabling services. We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and support long-term organizational sustainability. Position Summary The CFO is a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for the overall financial management of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, revenue cycle oversight, grants compliance, and regulatory adherence. This role partners closely with leadership to advance La Casa's mission and financial resilience. Key Responsibilities Supervise and develop finance and billing teams Lead financial strategy aligned with FQHC, HRSA, and UDS requirements Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Collaborate with the Billing Director to optimize revenue cycle performance Manage audits, cost reports, and federal grant compliance Support capital planning and long-range financial initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Minimum 3-5 years of senior level accounting and finance experience, preferably in a FQHC or primary healthcare setting.
